"A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step." ~ Lao Tzu.
Sometimes the hardest thing to do is ask for help when life gets rough. Whatever you are going through, whether it's a stressful work situation, the ending of a relationship, an increase in anxiety and depression, or entering a new stage in your life I would like to help. Let me assist you in taking the first step to having a happy and fulfilling life. |
My priority as a therapist is to help you on your journey to well-being and happiness. Today you are one step closer to feeling empowered to start on a positive path to growth and health. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, difficulty with a life transition, or communication issues with your partner, together we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
My approach is to use an eclectic, individualized treatment plan with each client. Utilizing a combination of treatment approaches that are specific to each clients needs, I help my clients achieve their goals and face their challenges.
If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. My schedule is open to day and evening appointments, and in some cases phone sessions, and I welcome you to contact me to see what we can do to help you begin your journey of discovery.
My clients consist of adults, couples and families, children (age 10 and up), adolescents, and young adults. Many clients are going through transitions at home or in relationships. Some clients have anxiety about going to college, struggling with perfectionism and high stress levels at their job or school, or are having difficulty in their relationships with others (parents, spouses, children). I'm here to help you through these struggles and teach you techniques and coping skills that can help you learn to manage your stress levels, communicate better with loved ones, achieve a balance between work and relaxation, gain better self-worth, and change old patterns that no longer serve you. We are all "works in progress."
